A Visit to The Banc

The Banc is a warm and welcoming restaurant in North London run by two friends Fabio and Jan who opened this restaurant almost a decade ago. They were raised on a variety of cuisine such as that which is served in The Banc. They love bringing their exquisite home-made burgers, matured steaks and Mediterranean to the scintillating taste buds of each and every guest.

I recently had a visit to this kitchen and these are the photos from my meals:

Starter

I started my evening with a glass of Merlot and of course marinated olives.

The first starter I had was grilled prawns that are cooked in a homemade shallot and mixed pepper sauce. I really liked the chargrilled taste.

The next tempting item on the menu is grilled haloumi. It comes with a fantastic sauce of cyprus cheese with fig jam.

Main

It’s time for the big meal. I was so keen to try their steaks. They have a good variety of meat cut from Ribeye, Fillet or Sirloin. I choosed ribeye and I made a good choice! It was fantastically grilled outside and still pink and soft inside.

My visit wouldn’t be completed without trying their famous burger. So Delux burger was my second main! It has melted blue cheese, onion rings, mushrooms, mixed salad & mayonnaise. A truly wonderful yummy burger.

Dessert

If you know me (even a little), then you know I always leave room for dessert. They have a fantastic selection of dessert and prepare yourself for having hard time deciding what to order! The good news is, they have a great service that they bring you  a sample dessert plate so you can check out what dessert looks most appealing to you.

I ended up picking cream caramel which comes with Cinnamon icecream and It was very light and tasty.
